Some replacement ignition rails are straightforward… And then there is the OEM ignition rail on the MWM TBG series. As anyone who has encountered these will know, the cabling on the MWM TBG is enclosed in hard foam. While this approach protects the cabling, the downside is that it is inaccessible. As such, the cabling itself cannot be replaced if it develops a fault.

The R & M Walsh solution is to supply a serviceable, affordable aftermarket replacement rather than replace with a more expensive OEM. This approach is cost-effective, reliable and extends the working life of ignition systems. By embracing a solution-based methodology, we work with clients to find the most pragmatic answer to issues such as MWM TBG encased cabling.

Success story

We were recently asked to supply an aftermarket solution for MWM TBG620-V16 rail bank A part number 1229 9442 KM and bank B part number 1229 9443 KM that had developed faulty cabling. Our replacement rail set is a direct replacement plug and play. These advanced rails have connections for thermocouples, knock sensors, pressure switches, starter relays and PT100s. The lead time for this complete rail set was 6 weeks, and the result was a fully restored system at a considerable cost saving to the client.
